Represented by A.S. Prote Maritime Ltd, D4SPAs was pleased to participate in the 1st Conference on Security of the Blue Economy (#SEC4BLUEconomy24), held on April 23rd 2024 at the Golden Age Hotel in Athens.
The conference brought together key stakeholders from the maritime, security, and research sectors to address critical challenges in safeguarding coastal and offshore infrastructure, port operations, and maritime domain awareness. These topics are highly aligned with the core mission of the D4SPAs project, which focuses on deploying an advanced VTOL UAV platform to monitor pollution, detect illegal activities, and support emergency response in port and anchorage areas.
As D4SPAs seeks to enhance the environmental sustainability, security, and operational resilience of ports through cutting-edge aerial surveillance, our presence at the conference offered an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore synergies, and connect with actors from both public and private maritime sectors.
We were proud to contribute to the dialogue around innovative technologies and collaborative strategies for protecting Maritime Critical Infrastructure and promoting a secure and sustainable Blue Economy.
